As a part of the Assemblies of God World Missions, the Asia Pacific Region is committed to our mission to all nations to reach the lost with the message of Christ, plant churches, train believers, and touch the poor and suffering.
The Asia Pacific region consists of 35 nations grouped into four geographic areas: Northern Pacific Rim, Pacific Oceania, Peninsular Asia, and Southeast Asia.
Asia Pacific missionaries do a variety of work that includes evangelism, church planting, international churches, deaf ministry, and teaching in Bible institutes, colleges, and seminaries. They are also involved in compassion ministry through children’s homes, feeding programs, and education. They work in Buddhist, Islamic, Shinto, Animistic, and secular cultures.
The following statements explain our vision, purpose, and values.
- Our Vision: To see communities of Christ followers among every people group in the region.
- Our Purpose: Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we partner with the global AG network, sharing Christ with the unreached and forgotten in Asia and the Pacific Islands.
- Our Values: We are a Spirit-led mission that values meaningful relationships, strategic action, contextually relevant ministry, and sacrificial service.
